A Welcome Message from Our Chairman.
Welcome to the Product Development and Management Association portal! Our
community of innovators is the wellspring for new knowledge for how to
create new marketplace value. We live in over 50 countries and work in
enterprises ranging from global corporations to new Web 2.0 "start ups"
spanning across more than 17 industries.
The PDMA community is woven from a fabric of practicing professionals,
academics, service providers and students. We are passionate about
extending the reach and impact of our leading-edge research and best
practices through our Chapters, Affiliates and Special Interest Groups (SIG's), Conferences, Publications, Web Casts, and New Product Development Professional Certification.
In our community, we have members who have joined to be successful with a
New Product assignment and we have other members who have joined to support
successful life-long careers in product development and product management.
Since the application of principles, tools and processes for the practice
and management of innovation are today being applied in every business area,
PDMA Membership is relevant for your entire career.
If you are an innovator (or would like to meet some), attend one of our 39
Chapter or Affiliate programs in your area. PDMA conferences are a great
place to cross paths with a Guy Kawasaki, Clayton Christensen or Jim Collins
and to do some world class networking in the process. Wondering what's
next? Read one of our highly respected publications: The Journal of Product
Innovation Management (JPIM) or our member magazine, Visions.
