ProductCamps have become a big hit in cities across the U.S. and has now even spread to Canada, Europe and Australia. So it's about time we had one in Washington, DC! Called an "unconference," because there are no fees, no pre-planned agenda, and absolutely no selling, a ProductCamp is basically a set of round table discussions with product managers, marketers and whoever else is interested in building, launching and marketing great products. No matter where you are in your career, it's a great opportunity for you to learn from, teach to, and network with Product Management, Marketing, and Development professionals from the Washington, DC metro area!"

Call for Presenters
Our goal is to greatly increase the amount of learning, networking, and professional development opportunities for the chapter. If you have a topic that you believe will of interest to the DC-MD-VA PDMA chapter, please forward an abstract and bio for consideration. A successful 2010 would be 6 to 10 events.
PDMA DMV Innovation Annual Event Planning
Many of the US chapters have successfully pulled together a full day program, centered around innovation, and the industries local to their region, such as the Georgia, Carolina's, and Chicago Chapter. We wish to pull together an event for 2010, in late fall, and are looking for volunteers to pull together this event.
Innovation & Renewbeable Energy

Please join the DC/VA/MD Chapter of the Product Development and Management Association as we hear from three companies who are active in the renewable and sustainable energy sector. The objective of this panel is to provide attendees with insight into the innovative ways that companies are approaching the development, marketing and on-going management of various renewable energy products, and what needs might exist of larger companies that can be filled by smaller, more nimble suppliers.
